This Sunday marks the grand national tradition known as the Super Bowl (in case you hadn’t heard).
And while most eyes will be on flat-screen televisions come game time we felt it important to let you know that the NFL has finally entered the Web 2.0 world: They’re offering a fan page that will collect all tweets and Flickr photos that are tagged with #SB44 (the “official” hashtag of Super Bowl XLIV).
This way people who are at the game (or wish they were) can share their hastily scribbled thoughts and jersey-based photos.
Looking for a way to liven up your party? Pass this list of various Super Bowl side bets around before kick off. (Disclaimer: Netted does not condone illicit wagering for legal tender).
And for those who are more interested in the high priced-promotional vehicles than the actual game, AdLand has a curated archive of Super Bowl ads going back to 1969. (Yes, the collection includes the Noxzema spot with Joe Namath getting creamed by Farrah Fawcett).
Oh, and, go Saints.
