The Recipe Book Re-Imagined As A Video Search Engine

For all the value that cookbooks provide, the printed word can only take you so far.

To add a visual how-to element to your culinary experiments, try Cookblast, a search engine for recipe videos and cooking guides.

If Julia Child had had access to YouTube, her site may have looked something like this. Simply search for a specific recipe or browse the archives for inspiration.

Videos are organized by dish, ingredient and cuisine, allowing you to refine your search.

They also feature tips and tricks (you can search by technique), allowing you to perfect your craft to an even greater degree.

We’re also fond of the cocktail section, though we don’t recommend drinking your dinner with the frequency that we do.
