Have you heard the one about the website that makes finding a new apartment fun?
We’ll wait for you to stop laughing.
Okay, seriously now. It’s called Nestio, and it’s revolutionary. Wayfaring co-founders Caren Maio, Matt Raoul, and Mike O’Toole created the site as an elegant solution to common apartment hunting setbacks (think lost phone numbers, missed opportunities, even accidentally viewing the same apartment twice).
To use the service, simply create an account and add the Nestio icon to your browser toolbar. When you find a promising listing on a rental site (Craigslist, brokerages, etc.), click the Nestio icon, add some notes (“Nice toilet!”), and save the listing.
Back on Nestio’s site you’ll find all your apartments, sortable by date added, neighborhood, and price. Click individual listings and find a treasure trove of intel, including maps, photos, square footage, and broker contact info; mark your favorites, schedule appointments, and track your progress all in one place.
Still not impressed? Hit the “compare” button and view multiple listings side by side to evaluate the goods. If you need a second opinion, you can invite others to collaborate.
No joke.
