Help Provide Clean Water through YouTube

Annotations for Water is a YouTube annotation that supports charity for clean water

For over 20 years, people worldwide have come together on March 22nd to celebrate World Water Day by focusing on the importance of freshwater as a basic human right.

This March 22nd (that’s tomorrow, by the way), you can do your part too: All you need is a YouTube channel and Annotations for Water.

Annotations for Water is a browser plugin that inserts a powerful fundraising message about clean water into your YouTube videos. All you need to do is add their bookmark to your toolbar, select “Annotations” from the Edit menu on the video you want to use, click the bookmarklet, and publish. It’s that simple.

This nifty tool was created by Waves for Water, a non-profit organization founded to provide clean water to those in need. Once installed, it informs viewers that 1 in 6 people do not have access to clean water – and where to go to learn more.

It’s an easy and powerful way to help make a difference in the lives of millions.
